Bees, Swarms, & Removals

Please Help out our Beekeepers by following these steps:

We ask that you please do the following:

1) Please take a look at either the pictures located above or at a fellow website: Swarmremoval.com.

Here you will be able to look at the different kinds of bees.

In order to help our beekeepers in your removal of honeybees, please try to identify what type of bee you have.

2) Once you have this information, please locate either a beekeeper who is closest to your location in the county or an exterminator. Please read the note below.

3) Beekeepers may be reached through the UW-Extension.  You may reach the Extension at 715-261-1231.

An exterminator that the Association works closely with is Randy Habeck.  He may be reached at 842-5544.

PLEASE NOTE:

ASSOCIATION BEEKEEPERS DO NOT REMOVE BEES OTHER THAN HONEY BEES.

PLEASE CONTACT AN EXTERMINATOR IF YOU HAVE BEES OTHER THAN HONEYBEES.  Thank you!

There may be a charge for the removal of honey bees due to gas prices and equipment costs.

Please talk with the beekeeper to gather the correct information. Beekeepers may ask for a fee if they arrive and the bees are other than honeybees.
